The pipework continues...... this time working its way from the cab to the sanders, in this case the fireman's side front sander. The join here is required to break the run to make it manageable to install, and to remove should the need arise.

The newly made brass cladding 45° fillets in the cab have been tweaked to fit better and then the void behind was topped-up with insulation. They were then coated with Brasso for protection.

We're currently revisiting the window frames with a revised, and better set of castings. In the meantime however, and whilst these the new ones are finished off, we've fitted acrylic glass to the existing ones for future trial running.
