We're making use of four vacuum reservoirs donated by the Company and that had been stored surplus to requirements at Boston Lodge. These were redundant from an old Ffestiniog Railway push-pull carriage and so will be used in place of the two we'd designed to go into the tender.

We started out by removing the old fittings during the January 2014 Working Party.

With the fittings now removed we then painted them during the February 2014 working party. Three oif them are seen here nice and glossy just after being painted.

The cylinders were then sent to Boston Lodge to have mounting brackets made and attached. They are seen in the works on the 26th May 2014.
